Red Mango

Red Mango, one of the first yogurt spots to open in the metro, has made quite a name for itself—one that has practically become synonymous to fro-yo itself. This South Korean brand’s fresh, tangy take on non-fat, all-natural fro-yo has impressed the discerning tastebuds of many a yogurt lover.

Not a lot of people know that this fro-yo joint also dishes out an impressive list of other specialties. Try the yogurt smoothies—much creamier than the average fruit shake—and the house coffee, which boasts 100-percent organic coffee beans. Almost too pretty to eat, Red Mango’s heart-shaped waffles makes for a delicious any-time-of-the-day snack. Choose between two scrumptious flavors:Blueberries and Cream and Banana Almond—both lightly toasted and topped with dollops of yogurt cream cheese.

Owner Sherika Tanmantiong describes her brain child as “a dessert place, a café and a snack and hang-out destination, all rolled into one.” What's more: every Red Mango branch gives off a cool, refreshing vibe just like the dessert it’s famous for. Airy, predominantly white interiors with red, black, and yellow accents create a hip and laidback setting for fro-yo fanatics.
