Dos Palmas Island Resort & Spa

Honda Bay in Palawan is known for its beauty and tranquility. The best part of this island is that this is where Dos Palmas Island Resort & Spa is located, where isolation is not synonymous to boredom since the resort is well equipped to provide one with that once in a lifetime experience. Honda Bay, where Dos Palmas Island Resort and Spa is, is a private island and this 20-hectare land has lush greenery in the middle of tropical waters to offer to its visitors. Nobody said that being with nature would have to mean being away from the comforts of technology and modern facilities and this is one of the reasons that Dos Palmas Island Resort & Spa is the perfect getaway.

One of the good things about Dos Palmas Island Resort & Spa is its commitment to protect and co-exist with nature. Although the resort offers that unique environment to provide their guests with that once in a lifetime experience, they are ecologically responsible in terms of waste management and they are looking to one day set the standard for the hospitality industry.

The Bay Cottages and Beach Villas at Dos Palmas Island Resort & Spa are built on stilts in the sea so that one can fall asleep to the gentle lapping of the waves. If one isnt too keen about being in a room that is built on stilts in the water, then one can have this same room but located in the gardens and instead of the waves, one can wake up to birds singing. The Bay Cottages and Beach Villas are fully air conditioned and self-contained with hot showers, a telephone and a verandah so one can enjoy the sunset. The price of the Bay Cottage is 12,000 pesos per night while the Beach Villa starts at 10,000 pesos.

In an effort to make sure that not only the privileged get to enjoy their facilities, Dos Palmas Island Resort & Spa offers day packages for 2,500 pesos per adult and 1,200 pesos per child. This day package includes boat transfers from the city to the resort and back again, lunch, use of the childrens playground and activities such as snorkeling, kayaking and sports such as beach volleyball and basketball.
